Why Rafale
is different

A conventional kite gradually loses its precision as the canopy works, stretches and deforms. Rafale was built around one simple obsession: keeping a clean profile under load.

Lighter, yet more dimensionally stable. Normally, lightening a canopy makes it softer; the P40 Dyneema composite membrane breaks that trade-off.

The canopy that won't give

At 40 g/m² (versus ~55 for a standard polyester), the P40 is lighter and more dimensionally stable. A Dyneema composite membrane woven from high-tenacity UHMWPE fibres (about 15x stronger than steel by weight, near-inextensible), it elongates only approx 0.5 to 2 % under load (versus approx 3 to 8 % for standard polyester), a fraction of the elongation. Higher stiffness, so the profile holds, flutter is gone, with more liveliness and a longer lifespan thanks to excellent UV and ageing resistance.

When will I receive it?

Rafale is a Founding Series pre-order. The lead time isn't fixed: it's confirmed individually with you after your order is validated, based on the size and the progress of the series.

Which sizes are available?

Rafale is offered in 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 m². If you're torn between two sizes based on your weight and your spot, we'll help you choose.

Why pre-order?

The first series is produced in limited quantity. Pre-ordering reserves you a Founding Series kite and lets you talk directly with us about your setup.

Who is Rafale for?

For advanced, demanding riders looking for a precise, stable kite in strong conditions, big air, committed freeride and freestyle. It's built for those frustrated by the deformation of conventional kites.

Which materials are used?

A P40 Dyneema composite membrane canopy (40 g/m²), woven from high-tenacity UHMWPE fibres. Near-inextensible, it elongates only about 0.5 to 2 % under load, versus about 3 to 8 % for a standard ~55 g/m² polyester, a fraction of the elongation. The result: a stiffer canopy that holds its profile, flutters less, stays lively and ages very well thanks to strong UV resistance.
