The one kite you won't want to replace next year. While the others deform, yours holds its profile.
The real 3D model of the Rafale, not an image. Rotate it, inspect the leading edge, the struts, the canopy. This is exactly the kite you'll receive.
A crisp punch, smooth and playful rotations, minimal weight, made bulletproof by its canopy technology.

Explore our world →Kiting is an art of living. That of the entrepreneur, the traveler, the epicurean, the aesthete, of everyone who refuses the ordinary, from the first jump to the finest years. Mission dresses that standard: performance with allure, at any age.
Every Mission kite is the result of obsessive engineering: weight reduction, leading-edge stiffness, flutter control. Nothing is decorative, everything serves performance.
At 40 g/m² (versus ~55 g/m² for a standard polyester), our P40 Dyneema composite membrane, woven from high-tenacity UHMWPE fibres roughly 15x stronger than steel by weight, is ultralight and here's the feat: it's also near-inextensible. Normally, lightening a canopy makes it softer, so less precise; the P40 breaks that trade-off. With an elongation under load of roughly 0.5 to 2%, a fraction of a polyester canopy's (~3 to 8%), it holds its profile far better: higher stiffness, excellent profile hold, flutter gone and excellent UV and ageing resistance. So the P40 doesn't merely match other canopies: near-inextensible, ultralight and durable, it delivers more liveliness and a longer lifespan.
Dyneema composite · 40 g/m² · Elongation 0.5 to 2%High-tenacity UHMWPE fibres in a Dyneema composite membrane for near-zero elongation and greater stiffness, session after session.
A twin skin at the wingtip eliminates turbulence: less drag, better upwind pointing and sharper turns. Profile stable in the gusts, wider wind range.
| Feature | Standard 55 g/m² polyester ripstop | Project 40 (P40) |
|---|---|---|
| Areal weight | ~55 g/m² | 40 g/m² |
| Fibre | Standard polyester | Dyneema composite (UHMWPE) |
| Elongation under load | ≈ 3 to 8% | ≈ 0.5 to 2% |
| Elongation at break | ≈ 20 to 50% | ≈ 2 to 5% |
| Fibre strength | Standard | Dyneema ≈ 15x steel |
| Stiffness | Lower | Higher |
| Profile hold | Average | Excellent |
| Flutter | More pronounced | Reduced |
| Ageing resistance | Good | Very good |
| Weight | Heavier | Lighter |
Why the P40? Its Dyneema composite membrane is ultralight (40 g/m² versus ~55) and near-inextensible at the same time, stretching only a fraction of what polyester does under load, so the usual trade-off between weight and stability no longer exists. Polyester stretches, fatigues, loses its shape; the P40 holds its profile in the gust and its responsiveness, session after session. UHMWPE fibres roughly 15x stronger than steel by weight, ultralight, UV-resistant and durable: it doesn't compete with other canopies, it outperforms them.
Turn up the wind, from 15 to 50 knots. The P40 canopy holds its profile. Polyester sags, deepens, flutters. No paragraph to read, just watch.
We didn't build one more kite. We refused the compromise everyone accepts: a canopy that stretches, a profile that moves, a precision that wears out. The compromise, not here.
