The high-performance kite engineered to hold its profile when the wind turns violent. Lighter, stiffer, more precise, built for riders who refuse to deform.
A conventional kite gradually loses its precision as the canopy works, stretches and deforms. Rafale was built around one simple obsession: keeping a clean profile under load.
Lighter, yet more dimensionally stable. Normally, lightening a canopy makes it softer; the P40 Dyneema composite membrane breaks that trade-off.
At 40 g/m² (versus ~55 for a standard polyester), the P40 is lighter and more dimensionally stable. A Dyneema composite membrane woven from high-tenacity UHMWPE fibres (about 15x stronger than steel by weight, near-inextensible), it elongates only approx 0.5 to 2 % under load (versus approx 3 to 8 % for standard polyester), a fraction of the elongation. Higher stiffness, so the profile holds, flutter is gone, with more liveliness and a longer lifespan thanks to excellent UV and ageing resistance.
Lighter AND more stable · 40 g/m² · 0.5 to 2 %A sharp vertical boost, generous hangtime: you go up fast and come down soft.
Linear power, smooth depower, direct feedback: the kite does exactly what you ask.
Superior upwind angle, reassuring when overpowered, alive in the lulls.
Fast rotations, precise placement in the window: it relaunches instantly.
Mission was born from a rider's frustration: feeling a kite lose its shape, its precision and its energy in strong conditions. Rafale is our answer, a more technical, more tensioned, more direct kite.
Rafale is a Founding Series kite, developed through iteration. Our work, in full transparency:
Selection and validation of the P40 Dyneema composite membrane, woven from high-tenacity UHMWPE fibres, for its profile hold and its light weight.
Obsessive work on stiffness and elongation: keeping a clean profile under load.
Prototypes tested on the water, in real conditions, in strong winds, not in a lab alone.
Each Founding Series feeds the next. Rafale evolves with rider feedback.
The first Rafale kites are offered in limited quantity. Each order is followed up directly to confirm the size, the lead time and the delivery terms.
You choose your size and send your pre-order request. No commitment at this stage.
We talk directly: size, program, estimated lead time and terms are confirmed with you.
Your Rafale is produced within the Founding Series. The lead time is confirmed individually after validation.
Rafale is a Founding Series pre-order. The lead time isn't fixed: it's confirmed individually with you after your order is validated, based on the size and the progress of the series.
Rafale is offered in 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 m². If you're torn between two sizes based on your weight and your spot, we'll help you choose.
The first series is produced in limited quantity. Pre-ordering reserves you a Founding Series kite and lets you talk directly with us about your setup.
For advanced, demanding riders looking for a precise, stable kite in strong conditions, big air, committed freeride and freestyle. It's built for those frustrated by the deformation of conventional kites.
A P40 Dyneema composite membrane canopy (40 g/m²), woven from high-tenacity UHMWPE fibres. Near-inextensible, it elongates only about 0.5 to 2 % under load, versus about 3 to 8 % for a standard ~55 g/m² polyester, a fraction of the elongation. The result: a stiffer canopy that holds its profile, flutters less, stays lively and ages very well thanks to strong UV resistance.
